By booking with CLP (The Christmas Light Professionals), the customer agrees to The Christmas Light Professionals Customer Agreement

This agreement summarizes the key points of the Christmas Light Professionals (CLP) Customer Agreement, including warranty, maintenance, light removal, storage, payment, and marketing.

Product Warranty: LED products: 3-season warranty. Incandescent products: 1-season warranty. Lights not purchased from CLP or left up year-round void this warranty. Warranty does not cover damage caused by weather, animals, vandalism, or the actions of other parties.

• Maintenance: CLP guarantees reasonable performance and quality of installed lights from the installationdate to New Year’s
  • Maintenance during this time will be performed within 48 of reasonable contact and will be of nocost to the customer, except for damage caused by:
    • Weather
    • Animals
    • Snowblowers
    • Vandalism
    • Electrical wiring within the home (including GFCI performance)
    • And any other external factors are uncontrollable by CLP
  • Maintenance requested after New Year’s Eve is subject to a $35 labor charge (if this exceeds 1 hour of work, there may be additional fees)
  • Materials no longer in warranty will incur an additional
• Light Removal: CLP provides free light removal to current customers between January 1st and February14th (weather dependent). For high elevation properties, the lights may be removed at a later date(February 14-May 30) due to snow and ice conditions around the installed
  • For a specific date of removal or requests outside of this timeline, or split takedowns, a $50 fee will apply.
• Storage: CLP offers free storage for lights used during the current For customers who do not getinstalled, they will be notified with ample time to pick up their lights, pay $60 for a year of light storage, orpermit CLP to recycle these lights. Any lights not accounted for by December 15th of that year will be recycled.
• Payments: All payments are due upon completion of
  • If payment has not been received within 30 days, it will be subject to the following
    • A $50 late fee after 30 days of non-payment.
    • An additional 3% late fee per month after 60 days of non-payment
    • Potential 40% late fees to a third-party collection agency after 6 months of non-payment

Photo Release

As the owner or authorized representative of the Property and by signing this invoice or making payment, unless verbally requested I give the CLP Photographer / Filmmaker and assigns my permission to create and use the Content depicting the Property in any Media, for any purpose (excluding defamation and/or pornography) which may include, among others, advertising, promotion, marketing and packaging for any product or service. I agree that the Content may be combined with other content, text, and graphics and cropped, altered, or modified. I agree that all rights to the Content belong to the Photographer / Filmmaker and/or Assigns. I agree that I have received Consideration for the rights granted in this release. I acknowledge and agree that I have no further right to additional Consideration or accounting and that I will make no further claim for any reason to CLP Photographer / Filmmaker and/or Assigns. I acknowledge and agree that this release is binding upon my heirs if applicable, assigns or any person claiming an interest in the Property. I agree that this release is in-evocable, worldwide, and perpetual, and will be governed by the laws (excluding the law of conflicts) of the country/state from the following list that is nearest to the address of the owner or authorized representative given opposite: New York, Alberta, England, Australia, and New Zealand. It is agreed that my personal information will not be made publicly available but may only be used directly in relation to the licensing of the relevant Content where necessary (e.g. to defend claims, protect rights or notify trade unions) and may be retained as long as necessary to fulfill this purpose, including by being shared with sub-licensees / assignees of the Photographer / Filmmaker and transferred to countries with differing data protection and privacy laws where it may be stored, accessed and used. I represent and warrant that I am at least 18 years of age. I have the full legal capacity and right to execute this release and grant the rights herein granted with respect to the Property, and to bind all persons claiming an interest in the Property.
