Our history of 32 years has seen us offer Christmas light display services in Orem UT and beyond.
On a modest budget, we can install a tree-shaped show, alternating lights and music, or another theme that will take the spotlight.
We are proudly bound by all in Orem UT laws, using only legal specialists and holding all personnel thoroughly covered by workman's compensation insurance and liability coverage. We are sure that our results and our product line will meet or exceed your expectations. We do not authorize prior to the completion of your installment if our work is not completed.
Established in 1989, with over 30 years of service, we are one of the oldest and largest lighting companies in Orem UT. Our management team has over 100 years of combined experience installing holiday lighting displays, and there is nothing we haven’t seen or done.
Please contact us by phone at or via our website and let us know what kind of job you're seeking. Within 24 hours, we will get you an online estimate for your job or send you a quote through text message.
Once you have made the payment and set up an appointment, we will begin working for you. In many cases, this begins within three days.
Our team will arrive on schedule or give you a call if running late. Our installation teams are always happy to get the job done efficiently, even completing the task in a single day if necessary.
Our Christmas light installers will perform a professional installation. Light strands are customized to fit your residence, cords are hidden out of plain view, timers automatically turn your holiday lights on and off, and connections are made and waterproof (no black tape or wire nuts with us.) All job sites are cleaned better than when we arrived.
Our products meet or exceed all industry standards, and since we are also one of the largest manufacturers on the market, we can import them direct from the factory and pass the savings on to you.
Holiday decorations are removed with the same care with which they were installed. Removal is completed in January, and no appointment is necessary.
Through the end of the year, you are able to obtain an overflow light storage space to keep your lights on the upcoming year. You do not need to dig through your stuff during the year anymore, because we will store. We give you a list with a description of all stored things.
The Christmas Light Professionals was established in 1989 by Vance Brand, who, after working for his father at Brand Electric and running a window cleaning company, came upon a bright idea! Because of his background, all our work is performed to UL standards, and our ladders are safety-rated with automatic levelers and tie downs.
Home owners most often pay about $500 to $900 upon purchasing holiday lighting for their first Christmas (amount of cost will differ based on the materials selected and installation costs). Due to the labor and materials used, the price tag is usually around $300 to $600 for the following Christmases. Adding small trees can increase the expense per session by approximately $150 to $300. Prices will range from roughly $80 to $185 for every following year.
Remember, light bulbs are a commodity and while putting them in many key areas will mean a higher price, the light output will be higher. If you want to lower the cost, we recommend limiting the number of lights in your home, office, or business. If you're including trees in the ground, always look for smaller trees as they are typically more affordable.
Unfortunately, we’re not charging the same price we did 33 years ago. Our pricing increases over time as the cost of materials, insurance, and labor increases. We try to keep our pricing stable for at least three years. We adjusted pricing in 2008, 2013, 2018, and 2021. This last increase has a lot to do with the labor market and gas prices over the past 24 months.
Yes. Our labor minimum is $250. To assure that we can give you good service, including the removal of lights in January, we have to have a minimum labor amount.
A 2500-square-foot newer home with two apartment lights might typically cost $350 to uninstall and install lights that are installed on the back of the house's rooftop. However, the number and location of lights on the roof can also influence a quote. This is because the size of a house's rooftop can have some variance.
A 2500-square foot rambler will have a very different roofline than a two-story with dormers. Price is based on the linear footage of your roofline and the height and pitch of your roof.
If lights are a commodity and putting double the amount of lights on a tree would cost twice as much, it would make sense that a 12 ft. tree would probably cost twice as much as a six ft. tree. Keeping this in mind, smaller (6 ft.) trees always look better and cost less. Smaller trees will run about $85 to $135 in labor (each depending on how heavy they are covered.).
Larger trees can be more costly, depending on the number of strands involved. Also, remember that a two-story house averages 28 feet in height, and if your tree is the height of your home, it’s at least 28 ft. tall. A 28 ft. tree can cost anywhere from $300 to $2,000, depending on how many lights you want installed.
We commonly get asked, “Would you do my 50 ft. spruce in my front yard? I have a $250 budget.” Please remember to be reasonable in your request. To get great coverage on this type of tree, you should expect a minimum of $2,000 for the basic to $25,000 for extravagant coverage. A tree like this requires a $400 to $700 lift and is at least a day’s work, if not more.
We would be delighted to install your lights earlier if you wish to save money on our lighting services. You will receive a discount simply for helping us. The amount of the discount is as follows.
15% off all labor for jobs preschedule by September 1st.
10% off labor for all jobs installed by November 7th.
Yes, we do install an American-made LED product called Oelo. Not only is it one of the longest-lasting LED products on the market, but we can replace each LED independently. This means we can repair our permanent product, adding years to its operating life span and reducing overall cost.
With Oelo you can have fourth of July lights, Easter lights, St. Patty Daylights, and even purple birthday lights. The color options are endless. www.oelo.com
Permanent lighting doesn't last forever. Most permanent LEDs require significant repairs or replacement within five to seven years. Other companies may tell you that permanent lighting lasts ten years or more, but LED lights are actually programmed to need replacement about four years after they are installed. So, if 200 lights are installed in your home, the seven to ten-year return on investment average per light would be $3,500 to $10,000.
The average labor on a seasonal Christmas Light installation costs $300, together with the initial LED material cost of $250. Multiply that cost by seven years (the lifespan of permanent lights), and the total yearly labor cost of permanent Christmas lights is $2,300. Seasonally installed Christmas lights are a few thousand lower than permanent versions.
We understand how alluring lighting color schemes are for permanent lights. If you intend to buy permanent lighting for your house, make sure to keep in mind that the setup would cost more due to the enhanced special features.
I've used Christmas Light Professionals for years now, to put up my lights. They do a great job. This year Keeka and Micah made sure my lights were just right. Thank you!
